Kozjansko, od tam kjer smo doma
Sprehodite se z mano po gričevnatih poteh Kozjanskega.
Velikokrat omenjamo Kozjansko kot naš dom, kjer je Moika vzklila in pridno cveti, kjer vzgajamo najlepše rožice, in jih vgrajujemo v našo naravno kozmetiko. Tam kjer živijo iskreni in pristni ljudje. Se sliši pravljično, mar ne? Izhajam iz sebe , saj je Kozjansko ne le Moikin, temveč tudi moj dom. Trdno sem prepričana, da se na tej naši lepi deželici prav zares skriva nekaj pravljičnega. Ostanite z mano, mogoče prepričam tudi vas.
Zeliščna kmetija Švigl leži uro in pol vožnje vzhodno od Ljubljane na območju Kozjanskega. Na njej raste velik delež naravnih surovin, ki bogatijo naše izdelke. Čez poletje je vedno živahna in kar poka od vsega zelenja, medtem, ko si skozi zimo vzame malenkost časa zase, za počitek (pa še to ne čisto vse). Jaz živim natanko uro in devetindvajset minut vzhodno od Ljubljane, kmetija Švigl je moja prva soseda. Mislim, da jo že tudi sama lahko okličem z besedo »dom«, ki ga predstavlja narava sama, ljudje ter Kozjansko kot celota. Sem avtohtona prebivalka in pravi naslov za kakšno novo znanje o regiji ali družbo za potep po našem lepem hribovju.
Zakaj smo tako posebni?
Velik del Kozjanskega toplo objema Kozjanski regijski park. Ste vedeli, da Slovenijo krasijo kar trije regijski parki?
Kako se območje pravzaprav sploh uvrsti v regijski park? Naj vam bo v pomoč sledeča definicija: »Regijski park je obsežno območje regijsko značilnih ekosistemov in krajine z večjimi deli prvobitne narave, kjer je človekov vpliv večji, vendar z naravo trajnostno in sonaravno zgledno uravnotežen.«
Osredotočimo se na drugi del opisa . Človekov vpliv je viden, vendar je z naravo v ravnovesju. Že to je ena izmed naših ključnih vrednot – ravnovesje. Med naravo in človekom, med človeškimi odnosi, med naravnimi surovinami v naših izdelkih. Le z ravnovesjem lahko pridemo do harmoničnega delovanja.
Na Kozjanskem se lahko pohvalimo z izredno visoko stopnjo biotske pestrosti. Ravno zaradi nje smo uvrščeni med najpomembnejša naravovarstvena območja ne le v Sloveniji, temveč tudi v Evropi. Velik del parka spada med ekološko pomembna območja Slovenije in evropsko pomembna posebna varstvena območja NATURA 2000.
Habitati.
Pri nas najdete kar nekaj izredno pomembnih habitatov. Smo stičišče dveh naravnogeografskih enot, alpskega in panonskega sveta.
Predalpski predeli Kozjanskega parka – Veternik, Oslica, Bohor, so dom enih izmed najlepših in najbogatejših habitatov – hribovskim suhim travnikom. Tukaj je ponovno potrebno poudariti razmerje med naravo samo in kmetom. Suhi travniki se kosijo namreč le enkrat letno. Tudi sami smo strogi zagovornik enkrat letnega košenja, čeprav kmetija ne leži na nadmorski višini med 600 in 1000 metri. Tako se lahko rastline primerno oprašijo in naslednje leto ponovno zacvetijo v vsem svojem sijaju.
Med posebnimi rastlinami, ki jih tovrstni hribi ponujajo, je vredno omeniti številne orhideje, kranjske lilije, navadni kosmatinec, arnika … No, menim, da je prav vsaka vredna svoje omembe, saj skupaj gradijo mozaik biotske pestrosti. Rožice gostijo kar nekaj zavarovanih vrst metuljev (npr. sviščev mravljiščar). Predstavljajte si, poleti se odpravite na krajši pohod na Veternik, pridete na sam vrh in zagledate suhe travnike katere preletavajo razne vrste metuljev. Nimate časa v poletnih mesecih? Če ste ljubitelji gob, bo pravi raj za vas oktobra, ko si lahko ogledate pestrost travniških gliv vlažnic.
Še eden izmed posebnih habitatov so travniški sadovnjaki. Verjetno ne bi smela favorizirati, ampak te so mi res pri srcu. Doma imamo sadovnjak in eden izmed mojih najlepših spominov je, ko mi je dedek kot majhni punčki z največjim veseljem prinesel iz domačega sadovnjaka jabolko. Komaj sem čakala, da jablana oplodi! Vrsta “carjevič” mi je bila najljubša. Jabolka je sam vzgojil in to čisto brez pesticidov. :)
Visokodebelni travniški sadovnjaki na Kozjanskem obrodijo tradicionalne in avtohtone sorte sadja. Pri nas velja tradicija, da ob polnem rojstnem dnevu zasadimo eno izmed teh tradicionalnih sort. Hruška ali jablana, ni važno. Vedno sem se spraševala od kot ideja tovrstnega zasajanja. Tradicija izhaja iz 18. stoletja, ko je Marija Terezija poskušala pospešiti sadjarstvo s tem, da sta kmeta mladoporočenca ob poroki zasadila enega izmed sadnih dreves . Dobra praksa, saj bi naj jabolko simboliziralo ljubezen in življenje.
Sadovnjaki puščajo na našem območju močan pečat, saj dajejo dom mnogim vrstam ptic in žuželk. Pridno žvrgolijo vijeglavke, pogorelčki, veliki skoviki in rjavi srakoperji. Kjer najdemo ptice, najdemo tudi žuželke, ki jim predstavljajo eno izmed vrst prehranjevanja. Kako smo že rekli? Harmonija? ;)
Kaj pomeni izraz biotska pestrost?
Zavod Republike Slovenije Za Varstvo Narave pravi: »Biotska raznovrstnost je pestrost živih organizmov in njihovih bivališč. Ob tem najprej pomislimo na število rastlinskih in živalskih vrst v deželi ali pokrajini, a poleg tega pojem biotske raznovrstnosti zajema tudi raznovrstnost bivališč ali habitatov rastlin in živali. Biotska raznovrstnost vključuje tudi gensko raznovrstnost, to je raznolikost med posameznimi osebki neke vrste.«
Slovenija ponosno nosi krono po številu vrst na kvadratni kilometer ozemlja med državami Evrope. Vsaka pravljica ima skozi zgodbo kakšen grenak priokus, tudi mi nismo izjema. Ne le po svetu, temveč tudi v Sloveniji je opaziti zmanjševanje biotske raznolikosti. Vzrok tiči v intenzivni kmetijski proizvodnji, gradnji, kamnolomih, invazivnih tujerodnih vrstah itd.
Na dlani nam ravno ta raznolikost ponuja številne dobrine:
- hrano, kurivo, kisik,
- čisti zrak in vodo,
- razstruplja in razgrajuje odpadke,
- blaži podnebje,
- blaži poplave, suše, temperaturne ekstreme in moč vetra,
- ustvarja in obnavlja rodovitnost prsti (delovanje in odmiranje živih bitij),
- oprašuje rastline (tudi mnoge kmetijske pridelke),
- ...
Če ji le dovolimo, se lahko narava sama očisti in obnovi. Do meje, kadar je človeško izkoriščanje v mejah trajnostne rabe. Ravno na teh stebrih stojijo naravni parki. Zaščititi neokrnjeno naravo in spodbuditi trajnostno sobivanje. Le tako bodo lahko za nami živele še mnoge generacije naših naslednikov. Zavedajmo se, da stvari okoli nas niso samoumevne, da neokrnjena narava okoli nas ni samoumevna. Spodbujajmo lokalno, naravno, slovensko. Naučimo se jo spoštovati , saj nam daje lahko mnogo več kot le oddih in sprostitev. Mi z njeno pomočjo začaramo vse naše/vaše serume, hidrolate, kreme, gele … moj deda sam vzgoji razne vrste tradicionalnih sort in tudi vi lahko z vsakodnevnimi življenjskimi odločitvami pripomorete, da bo jutri narava veliko srečnejša kot je danes. Napišimo skupaj eno lepo pravljico!
Naj zaključim s preprostim stavkom moje drage babice, ki že od rojstva živi na območju Kozjanskega: »Cenit mormo s kot smo pa kaj mamo, ker s takih lepih koncov kot smo mi pa res ni vredno it.«
